Brittany & Matt {May 24 2014}

It was the perfect May day for a wedding, and it went off without a glitch.  Working with Brittany and Matt for almost a year and a half was a wonderful pleasure.  She was organized, and they both were laid back and very cool about pretty much every step of the way.  Which made for a generally relaxing planning process for everyone!  Plus, they had a casual air to their whole affair – while everything was beautiful and perfect, it was also a tad relaxed so that the whole day felt airy, pretty, easy and wonderful – exactly the way a wedding day should be, and a lot of it comes from the outlook of the couple!

They chose a very simple color palette of soft ivories, taupes, golds and touches of blue and silver.  It was timeless, romantic and simple class all rolled together.  I loved her choices of soft romantic flowers paired with a handful of orchids here and there, and their band was excellent from the moment they started to play, which meant it was a fabulous party from start to finish.  Everything they deserved!
