This couple was a dream to work with; their level-headedness with all things wedding, their creativity, and their enthusiasm was simply a perfect combination to make their wedding day perfect. Not to mention, they are so happily, wonderfully in love, and anyone with eyes can see it, and see that they will be happy together always. It was a huge pleasure to work with them!
From the beginning, Kelly had a vision for what she wanted – taken directly from two bouquet photographs and built from there. She loves pink, and after adding a few pops of deep eggplant to off-set the cotton candy, we also decided that infusing a bit more black into the decor would ground the vibe as well.
Both Kelly and Steve had a distinctive idea for what they wanted as a ‘theme’ – and the feathers, big band, and Kelly’s dress design can attest – they nailed a style without being too obvious. Plus, the personal touches – from a locket that Kelly’s mom secretly snuck to me a few weeks before the wedding, filled with personal memories and later attached to her bouquet as a surprise to the delicious candy buffet that Steve himself was keen to organize – made the wedding absolutely unforgettable.
Hugs to you two – enjoy the fabulous journey that’s just starting!
Below you can see how sketches and look-books became a reality.

Then the fabulous photographs of the wedding itself! The first four are thanks to the amazing talents of Jennifer Johnson Photography (and when she gets from her camera, I’ll post more from her work). The gorgeous flowers are courtesy of Muscari and the delicious cupcakes and cake are from The Cake Lady. Though you can’t see it, the videography was done by One Fine Day, and the amazing music was thanks to Gold Coast Orchestra. Divine!
