Yes, I fully realize Ivanka Trump has been married now for a while, but I’ve just started to see the photography (as limited as it is) around the web and in magazines.  I have to say, I am incredibly impressed by the classy, sophisticated and timeless aura of the entire wedding.  It made me take a trip back to Grace Kelly and Camelot, to the years of beautiful curves and demure cuts.

I suppose you could call this timeless elegance a “theme” of sorts for your wedding, the style words that help every vendor immortalize and visualize the feel you want for your wedding day.  It can start with your dress and work its way down, to the bit of sparkle at your ears to the comfortable and slightly practical cut of your shoes.

And while you plan, taking a walk down our elder’s memories, think of how the simplicity of those past days can be reflected in your wedding day; it’s about the bare basics.  Having a beautiful day, doing really nothing more than marrying the love of your life, surrounded by friends and family.

I think I’m over-romanticizing the whole thing, but it’s still fun to do.
